The Collaborative Atelier Two is the second workshop retreat hosted by Stories From Eros. A two-day retreat in the foothills of Snowdonia that will focus on not only improving your skills as a shooter, but also you.
The Collaborative Atelier is Stories From Eros’ unique take on photography & videography workshops. As well as capturing content these workshops focus on learning, collaboration and, perhaps most importantly, mindset.
The Collaborative Atelier Two will take place at the distinguished Palé Hall, a 5* hotel nestled in the foothills on Snowdonia which is only now looking to open its doors to weddings.

Join us on the 19th & 20th January for the Collaborative Atelier Two a the Palé Hall, Wales. Where you will capture a full proposal, rehearsal dinner and wedding campaign as well as a journaling and meditation to prepare you for the year ahead.
The Vision
You have been asked to capture a once-in-a-lifetime Valentine’s day proposal, it will take place in a round gilded room, of which ancient murals coat the ceiling, embossed in gold. Nature has begun to retake this decorative suite, roses, hellebores, and tulips of a deep, rich burgundy have sprung and are forming out of the growth.
A delicate table sits in the centre of the room, set for two. Candlelight flickers as you enter the room, and the shadows of the fauna are cast upon the paintings that you can make out between the leaves. Here, two lovers will dine, and with their tongues fired up on exquisite tastes, one will reply to the other, “Yes!”.

Seven months have passed since you left the hall after that romantic dinner. As you drive up the long driveway, passing the black-nosed sheep that stare at you with curiosity, you begin to glimpse the front of Palé Hall, but it is not the same as when you last left. From the top window, a bush of foliage has grown and carefully descended and coiled itself around each pillar of the entrance. Flowers have begun to bloom; they remind you of the Valentine’s meal, but their hue is altered somehow.
You enter to find yourself sprung upon by the engaged couple, giddy with excitement to see you again, and they ask you to meet them in the bar for a portrait shoot in their rehearsal attire. Dark, except for the lamps that illuminate the tables and walls, the room is designed to be atmospheric, a prelude to the following day. As guests arrive in their long colourful ball gowns and suits, you begin to take portraits…
You go to bed that night within the Hall itself, dreaming about what your couple might have in store for you tomorrow. If they created such a room for their proposal, you can only imagine what they might do for their wedding breakfast…
Format.
19th January 2026
The Collaborative Atelier Two will be split into two days and will include a night’s stay at Palé Hall. The first day will be the shoot day, during the morning and afternoon, you will be capturing models in various locations within and outside of Palé Hall that have been styled by Attabara and Dreamboats & Carousels and led by Harry & Annie from Stories From Eros.
After the shoot, everyone will be able to retire to their rooms to later rejoin the group for an aperitif and evening dinner at The Hunting Lodge. This is where you will be able to ask further questions and converse with the creatives behind The Collaborative Atelier Two.
20th January 2026
The following morning will focus on getting you in the right headspace to start your year. Having clarity of mind and a clear vision is one of the most important assets to any business owner. The morning will begin with a yoga session within Palé Hall’s fitness studio, which will be followed by a replenishing breakfast and then a meditation and journaling session led by Tracey Stevens to help put you and your business on track for the years ahead.

10 am - Arrival and check-in
10.30 am - Welcome talk in main foyer
11 am - Shooting Begins - Group A to shoot Location 1 | Group B to Shoot Location 2
12 pm - Group B to shoot Location 1 | Group A to Shoot Location 2
1 pm - Lunch Break
2 pm - Group A to shoot Location 3 | Group B to Shoot Location 4
3 pm - Group B to shoot Location 3 | Group A to Shoot Location 4
4 pm - Any final shooting around the venue before wrap.
5 pm - Retire to rooms
6.30 pm - Return to the main foyer for transport to the hunting lodge.
6.40 pm - Aperitif in the hunting lodge with fireside Q&A.
7.30 pm - Dinner in the hunting lodge
9 pm - Retire back to rooms.
